Using Design to Foster Creativity

In 2001, SONY decided to relocate all their divisions in Spain to the same building in the heart of Madrid financial district. DEGW acted as designers, engineers and the project managers for the complete fit-out of this space.

DEGW designed very open, informal, colourful work settings to emphasize such cultural values as fun, creativity and interaction, so essential to the show business. A certain degree of freedom was also given to each division manager to adapt the general design guidelines to their own needs. Each floor is used by a different division (Video, TV, Films, etc).
