Sharing Knowledge

Work in a lawyers office is mostly individual, with a high degree of concentration, but knowledge should be shared. DLA faced DEGW with the challenge to enhance communication and knowledge-sharing in an environment composed mainly of enclosed cells. This demand was met by designing transparent lawyers offices, completely glazed to the central support area.

A second challenge was how to achieve flexibility and support growth when most lawyers use enclosed offices. A strict modulation sorted out this problem: all enclosed offices have identical area, but they can be used in a flexible way (one partner, two seniors or up to four juniors).
