financial services organisation, is one of the first businesses
to explore the practical benefits of accommodating knowledge
workers in a more intelligent way.
Aware of the complexities involved in planning and designing
for distributed work, Capital One recently invited DEGW to develop
future organisational and work flow scenarios which will enable
the organisation to support the needs of their knowledge workers
and reduce the total demand for real estate.
Capital One intends to use the workplace as a lever for effecting
change and to better align the organisation with technology
investment. Examination of existing organisational structure,
work flows and spatial resources is being assessed through the
use of DEGW’s tools and Capital One’s own business
measures.
