As the largest landlord in North America the GSA’s mission
is to radically improve customer service through organisational
change and workspace transformation. With 330,000,000 sf of
real estate and a $10.5 billion design and construction budget,
the GSA developed the Workplace 20•20 Initiative to encompass
22 pilot work space projects nationwide.
DEGW is applying a collaborative design process to create optimal
environments, addressing both work process and flexibility for
future change. Using a balanced scorecard approach for design,
planning and research relevant organisational measures were
used to establish baseline business data, allowing comparison
of pre and post occupancy results.
