North American experience and thinking has had a strong influence on DEGW since the firm's foundation in 1973. Having worked with clients in North America for many years, DEGW established an office in New York in 1998 and has consultants in several other locations in North America. DEGW works with its clients across North America.

A steady stream of work for clients such as Accenture, Fidelity Investments, GlaxoSmithKline, Stanford University, and the United Nations has enabled us to develop workplace strategy experience from the office's early days. Our services have also extended to new kinds of learning environments and to workplace change management and communications.
Led by Dr Andrew Laing in New York, DEGW's North American practice has focused from the outset on strategic consulting in workplace design.
