Using the workplace to facilitate business
change
The design linked old and new buildings together to create open
space. We helped create flexibility in the workplace using 'neighbourhoods'
and 'home-bases' to enable staff to work in a way that suits them.
An internal street links one area of the building with another.
The effect is one of a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Conference, training and restaurant facilities provide more conventional
office space while breakout spaces help nurture creativity and
interaction. The result is a bright, stimulating environment within
an energy efficient and 'intelligent' building. |
